Shipping policy

At Montvail, we are committed to delivering your order with care, efficiency, and transparency. This Shipping Policy outlines how and when you can expect your order to arrive, and under which conditions we operate globally.

1. Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days of purchase. Processing is carried out Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. During high-demand periods (e.g., promotions or seasonal events), processing may take slightly longer.

2. Delivery Estimates

We offer Standard Worldwide Shipping, with estimated delivery times ranging between 5–17 business days from the date of shipment.

These delivery times are indicative only and may vary based on destination country, local customs clearance procedures, courier performance, and other external factors beyond our control.

While we strive to meet the estimated delivery times, international shipments may occasionally be affected by external factors beyond our control. As such, specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

3. Tracking Information

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a valid international tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking to update after shipment.

Depending on product availability and logistics, your order may be shipped in separate packages.

5. Customs Duties & Import Taxes

Shipments outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other local fees upon arrival. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price.

Montvail cannot assume responsibility for these charges and will not accept returns or issue refunds due to refusal to pay import duties. Customers are advised to check with local customs authorities before placing an order.

6. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is complete and accurate. Montvail is not liable for packages delayed, lost, or returned due to incorrect or incomplete address information.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an address error or failed delivery attempts, we may charge an additional shipping fee to resend the package. If reshipment is declined, we will refund the item cost only (excluding any original or return shipping costs).

7. Refused or Unclaimed Deliveries

Packages that are refused upon delivery or remain unclaimed and are returned to us will be refunded minus any shipping and return costs incurred by Montvail.

8. Lost or Missing Deliveries

If a parcel is marked as "delivered" by the courier but has not been received, customers should contact their local delivery service directly. Montvail is not responsible for parcels marked as delivered by the courier. A secure delivery address is strongly recommended.

In cases of dispute, Montvail will support investigations initiated with the courier, but no replacements or refunds can be issued without a formal resolution from the shipping provider.

If a parcel appears delayed or lost in transit, please contact us at info@montvailwatches.com. We will liaise with the shipping provider to assist in resolving the issue.

9. Force Majeure

Montvail is not liable for delays or non-delivery due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, customs delays, carrier errors, political unrest, or pandemics.
